Mestre Saulo was born
in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In the year 1981 he
began his capoeira training and counselling by Mestre Rui Henrique,
Benè Perninha and other members in the group I.U.N.A .
In 1988 Saulo Souza went to Berlin, where he now lives and continues
to proceed with his capoeira work and development under the leadership
of Mestre Rui Henrique. Saulo Souza was graduated to Contra Mestre
of the Association I.U.N.A. in 1996 in Rio de Janeiro. At OUR
MEETING 2004 in Berlin he has been graduated as a Mestre by his
Mestre Rui Henrique.
